The Alliance of Civilizations clearinghouse on Media Literacy Education is conceived as an ongoing project, a constant work-in-progress, a wiki-type database, a resource compilation and a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. It will need users - the community of knowledge - to constantly update it, with links to new resources available on-line, listing upcoming events, adding new organizations, etc., as well as actively publishing articles and participating in the forum discussions.
The “engine” of this Media Literacy Education clearinghouse is the partner organizations. They are dynamically involved in further developing the scope and relevance of this site by updating information, publishing articles and participating in the forums, as well encouraging others to do so.
The partner organizations are the de facto administrators of this site.
Although the main navigation of this site is in three languages (Arabic, English and Spanish), its repository of information is multilingual. We would like to encourage users to update resources, publish articles, start discussion groups in the forum, etc. in other languages.
If your organization is interested in joining this community of knowledge, please contact us at
